So, who are these ‘men in red’? It is our intrepid team of technical officials, fine tuned down to the last millimetre. Those unsung heroes who sit for hours on the sidelines waiting for an opportunity to make a dash across the green, whip out their tape measure and get down on their hands and knees. They often have to forego playing in a competition if they are on duty, so it is not a job to be taken lightly. Then, they have to go home and explain to the wife why they have grass stains on their knees! They have taken time out to do the necessary courses to become qualified and have to keep abreast of the changing rules and regulations. So Ivan, Jeff, Archie and Philip we thank you very much for the service you afford the club. It is much appreciated. You do a really great job.
